Our award-winning designers can assist you, from the initial planning stage through completion of any print communication. Whether you are looking to produce an annual report, newsletter, brochure, magazine, report, recruitment piece or an invitation to a special event, we are here for you. In general, please allow 10 working days for the design and review process. Printing can take up to 10 days depending on the job. For complex projects we advise a consultation in advance of the start of the job. Projects are archived and can be retrieved for future editing and use.

Sometimes an illustration is worth more than a picture
Effective medical or scientific illustration is the result of a collaborative effort between the subject-matter expert and illustrator. Illustrations are especially useful for complex concepts or principles. A well conceived illustration clarifies the information you are communicating. Full color or black-and-white renderings are created based on your needs.
Conceptual and pedagogical intensification through tamed object kinesis
Engage your audience with animation. 3-D & 2-D animation is perfect for demonstrating visual concepts that are difficult or impossible to convey using static images or direct video recording. We offer 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional computer-generated animation allowing you to effectively illustrate complex, abstract and dynamic concepts.
ORDERING A PHOTO COMPOSITE IS EASY AS 1-2-3!
Step 1 → Contact a BioCommunications photographer to schedule an appointment for portraits to be taken, 626-7343. View the Portrait Appointment Options for more information.
Step 2 → Complete the Photo Composite Request Form. To initiate a service request, email the form to ops@biocom.arizona.edu. This form and a complete list of names of individuals to have their portraits taken must be returned to BioCom at least 5 days prior to the appointment. Please send the list as a Word .doc with names and titles exactly as you wish them to appear (Caps and lower case, all CAPS, with or without professional degrees).
Step 3 → If you are updating an existing photo composite, please mark changes on the previous years' photo composite and provide it to the graphic designer, Edgar Mendoza. If this is a new composite, please contact the graphic designer to discuss your needs. All names and titles for composites should be provided electronically.

Poster Sessions
If you have your poster already prepared and just need another set of eyes for review prior to printing, we will be glad to assist. If you would like one of our experienced design professionals to create a one-of-a-kind, eye-catching poster, we are at the ready. Logos
The strategic evolution of the UA’s identity mark system is underway. New logos are being created for all colleges, departments, centers, and many related units. The primary objective for the unified and cohesive brand architecture system is to help standardize application of the UA brand identity. To that end, many legacy unit-specific marks will be retired, and the creation of new logos that may compete with the graphic prominence of the block A or confuse onlookers will require a strong business case justification and approval by University Relations.
